This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in producing high‑quality, precision‑cut materials. You will play a key role in preparing fiberglass and composite materials used in production.

Candidates must be safety‑minded, reliable, and able to follow detailed measurements and work orders.

Schedule: 6:00 a.m. -2:30 p.m. 

Pay: $24 an hour 

Key Responsibilities

Material Preparation

• Measure, mark, and cut fiberglass fabrics, mats, and composite materials according to production specifications
• Use cutting tools such as rotary cutters, shears, knives, and automated cutting equipment
• Read and interpret production drawings, templates, and work orders
• Organize and stage cut materials for production teams

Quality & Accuracy

• Inspect materials for defects before cutting
• Verify all measurements and cuts to minimize waste
• Label all materials clearly for traceability

Equipment Operation & Maintenance

• Maintain cutting tools in clean, sharp, and safe condition
• Follow proper storage procedures for rolls and materials
• Report issues and assist with minor troubleshooting

Safety & Compliance

• Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines when handling fiberglass
• Use PPE including gloves, respirators, sleeves, and safety eyewear
• Keep the work area clean and organized to minimize hazards

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to read measurements, drawings, and work orders
• Comfortable working with cutting tools and handling materials
• Good hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to stand throughout the shift
• Safety-conscious and reliable
• Must use required PPE
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
