We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Administrative Assistant – Accounts Receivable to join a well established company in Yuba City, CA. This role is responsible for supporting daily office operations while managing accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and excellent customer service.
Provide professional customer service by answering and directing phone calls
Generate and send invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Collect payments and reconcile customer accounts
Set up and maintain customer billing accounts
Monitor aging reports to identify delinquent accounts
Contact customers regarding past-due balances and follow up on outstanding invoices
Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to customer inquiries
Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to the general ledger
Prepare and generate weekly financial reports
Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized records
Previous experience in accounts receivable, billing, or administrative support preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus
