Express is looking for a reliable C-Clamp Forklift Operator/Material Handler for one of our great Valdosta clients

 JOB DESCRIPTION:

The chosen candidate will assist as needed throughout the facility, including but not limited to:

• Safely operate a C-clamp forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Cycle count inventory, storing in an orderly and accessible manner, while inspecting stock items for wear or defects and reporting to supervision.
• Ensure loads are complete and secured to minimize damage and breakage.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting 50 lbs. during physical loading/unloading of trucks.
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours to perform job related tasks.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.

Schedule: 

Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Qualifications:

• Mechanically inclined
• Identify product numbers and alpha/numeric codes
• Basic understanding of general mathematics
• Operate material handling equipment including:
  • Forklift
  • Pallet Jack
  • Shrink Wrapper
• Learn and use computer entry and recall for data.

 Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs .
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements.
• Comfortable working in both quiet and high-traffic environments.
