Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals – Forest Lake is seeking skilled and motivated CNC Operators for a growing manufacturing company in Pine City, MN. Pay & Schedule

• Hourly Pay: $21.00–$24.00/hour

• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. + 4 hours on Friday

• Pay Frequency: Weekly

• Employment Type: Evaluation-to-Hire

• Location: Pine City, MN

• Screening: Drug screen required; no background check

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (milling, turning, or grinding) based on production needs

• Load raw materials and unload finished parts manually or using an overhead crane

• Select tooling in the correct sequence per setup requirements

• Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy and quality

• Review control panels and compare prints to verify deviations before machining

• Perform quality control inspections and basic machine maintenance

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

• Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to perform inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges

• Ability to make minor machine adjustments

• Experience with setup operations, sequencing, tooling, and troubleshooting

• Ability to read blueprints and CNC programs

• Strong attention to detail

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical CNC training preferred

Experience Required

• Proven CNC Operator experience in a manufacturing environment

• Familiarity with CNC machinery, tooling, and measuring equipment

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CNC programs

• Strong problem‑solving skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs

• Standard hours with potential overtime during peak production periods
