Job Type: Full-time | In-Person | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Pay: $13.00-$14.00 per hour (based on experience)

Reports To: Customer Service Manager

 

Summary:

The receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience while providing essential administrative support. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct incoming calls on a multi-line phone system to the appropriate personnel
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail to designated recipients
  • Alphabetize pick tickets and maintain accurate filing in the warehouse file cabinet
  • Prepare and send birthday and anniversary cards, including stamping and mailing for out-of-town recipients
  • Weigh and apply postage to large outgoing mail as needed
  • Mail invoices on behalf of various departments
  • Organize, sort, and update invoice journals from the accounting department, including marking items as “paid”

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in handling office equipment, including multi-line phone systems and postage meters
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in filing and recordkeeping
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ year receptionist or office experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email)
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
