Second Shift Book Print Operator

Express is looking for a reliable book print operator for one of our great Woodstock clients. The role will include:

• Set up and operate high-speed industrial printing presses according to job specifications.
• Monitor press performance to maintain consistent print quality, color accuracy, and alignment.
• Adjust ink levels, paper feed, pressure settings, and registration to ensure optimal output.
• Conduct in-process quality inspections to verify text clarity, image sharpness, and correct pagination.
• Maintain production speed targets while minimizing waste and downtime.
• Identify and correct print defects such as smudging, streaking, misfeeds, or color inconsistencies.
• Verify job tickets, paper stock, ink specifications, and print files before and during production.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor troubleshooting on printing equipment.

Ideal candidates will be have previous machining experience

Requirements:

• Document production data, waste reports and machine performance
• Reliable transportation
• High School Diploma
• Be precise and accurate
• Background check / pass drug screen
• Printing experience required
• Attention to detail
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Basic reading and writing English, ability to communicate in English
