We are seeking a hardworking, mechanically inclined Yard Worker to join a busy non-ferrous operation. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, and performing physical labor.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment including Skid Steer, Excavator, Cranes, Crushing and Shredding equipment

• Operate a sit-down forklift (preferred)

• Drive company equipment (Valid Driver’s License required)

• Perform manual yard labor in a non-ferrous scrap environment

• Identify automotive and industrial parts in scrap materials

• Perform basic mechanical tasks such as changing hoses and assisting with equipment maintenance

• Learn and grow within equipment operation (training available for excavator)

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)

• Mechanical background or strong mechanical aptitude

• Ability to identify car and industrial parts

• Heavy equipment experience preferred

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently

• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, twist, and work in outdoor conditions

• Valid Driver’s License

• Reliable and safety-conscious
