Salary: $19/hr

We are actively recruiting for a entry-level lab tech for a manufacturing company in Leominster MA. Responsible for conducting product testing to ensure high-quality production that meets established standards. This role also involves identifying and recommending corrective actions to maintain compliance with customer and company specifications and quality requirements.

 

Responsibilities:

• Test raw materials and finished goods to ensure quality and accurate content.
• Complete all required testing documentation and paperwork.
• Accurately enter test results into the computer system.
• Monitor machine production to ensure proper operation and quality output.
• Label finished goods for shipment.
• Conduct dispersion testing in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping.
• Package materials for customer-requested samples.
• Safely operate and properly use various tools and equipment.
• Operate a rider-type industrial forklift to pick up, move, place, and position materials (will train/certify).

Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or laboratory experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to enter data accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures and testing instructions.
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately and maintain organized records.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30–40 lbs as needed.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Willingness to be trained on lab equipment and forklift operation.

Hours are Monday-Thursday 7AM-5PM and Friday is 7AM-4PM. Occasional half-day Saturdays. The pay rate is $19/hr.
