As a Recycler / Sorter, you will work around heavy machinery and conveyor systems to sort recyclable materials that are processed into outbound commodities for resale to brokers and mills.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Location: Holland, MI
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire
Sort and segregate recoverable materials such as aluminum, plastics, glass, and paper from incoming waste streams
Work alongside a team of sorters on a conveyor belt in an industrial recycling environment
Communicate with equipment operators regarding incoming loads that require special attention
Maintain attention to detail while working in a fast-paced production setting
Follow all safety procedures while working around machinery
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a flexible schedule
Reliable attendance and a self-motivated, team-oriented attitude
One year of experience working around machinery preferred, especially in recycling or industrial environments, but not required
