Express Employment of Windsor is seeking a Calibration Technician for a company in the Windsor area. This is a utility-type role with repetitive and heavy-lifting duties, so get ready to cancel your gym membership! This is an evaluation hire and can evolve into a career with an established company. Calibration Techs must be able to use a variety of measuring devices and accurately record results throughout their entire shift.

Location: Windsor area.

Pay: $19+/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday 1st shift

Responsibilities:

• Lift and move 10-50lb objects on and off a variety of scales.
• Record all information required for the calibration of scales.
• Read and interpret technical manuals to understand equipment specifications.
• Use basic math throughout the calibration process.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of consistent work history, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Specific vision abilities such as close, distance, color, and good depth perception, with the ability to adjust and focus on small details.
• Self-motivated, strong work ethic, ability to work without supervision.
• Equipment maintenance, data entry, and computer skills may be required.
