Position Summary:
The Press Machine Operator is responsible for operating commercial pressing equipment to finish garments according to company quality standards. This role plays a key part in ensuring customers receive professionally cleaned and pressed clothing in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate commercial press machines for shirts, pants, jackets, dresses, and specialty garments

• Inspect garments before and after pressing to ensure quality standards are met

• Identify fabric types and adjust pressing techniques accordingly

• Follow proper handling procedures to prevent damage or shrinkage

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Perform routine maintenance and report equipment issues

• Meet daily production goals while maintaining high quality

• Work collaboratively with cleaning and front counter staff

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in dry cleaning or garment pressing preferred (training available for motivated candidates)

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Dependable and punctual

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed
