We are hiring for someone with heavy duty assembly experience. They will work alongside welders in the welding dept (they will NOT be welding themselves).

 

Responsible for assembly of tanks (i.e. fittings, gauges, seals, etc.),  then pressure/leak testing the tanks prior to tanks being painted. They will likely need to cross-train/work in fabrication as machine operator when the need arises. Tests leaks, listener, attention to detail, punctual. Fuel tanks - plug the ports, put air pressure in it and then put a soapy substance outside of tanks & find bubbles

 

1st shift hours 6:00am-4:30pm

 

Must be able to:

• Physically lift and position tanks for testing (up-to 50lbs) repeatedly.
• Operate handling/lifting equipment (for tanks weighing over 50lbs.)
• Understand and follow basic assembly instructions (Bills-Of-Materials).
• Use hand/power tools (repeatedly).
• Wear appropriate safety PPE, including safety glasses and steel toes.

This is an entry level position that pays $16-17 to start, with tremendous opportunity for growth within the company with tenure and aptitude.
