We are seeking a reliable and experienced Medical Assistant to join our growing healthcare team in Kendall. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and committed to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures

• Assist physicians during exams and minor procedures

• Perform EKGs, injections, and phlebotomy (as needed)

• Update and maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR)

• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow

• Verify insurance and collect co-pays

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms

• Follow HIPAA and infection control guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience (required)

• Medical Assistant certification preferred

• Proficient with EMR systems

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
