Allpass Corporation, a precision machining and manufacturing company located in Madison, Ohio, is seeking a highly organized and experienced Controller / Human Resource Manager to oversee financial operations and lead all HR functions. This dual-role position is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in a small-to-mid-sized manufacturing environment and can manage both strategic oversight and day-to-day operations.
Oversee all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, payroll, general ledger, and cost accounting
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
Coordinate annual audits and tax preparation with external CPA firms
Monitor manufacturing costs, job costing, and inventory controls
Develop and implement internal financial controls and process improvements
Provide financial reporting and analysis to leadership for strategic decision-making
Administer payroll, benefits, and compensation programs
Manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee retention strategies
Maintain employee records and ensure HR compliance with labor laws
Oversee performance management and employee development initiatives
Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes
Ensure compliance with OSHA, workers’ compensation, FMLA, and employment regulations
Coordinate training programs and policy development
Manage health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefit vendors
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing
Strong understanding of cost accounting and financial reporting
Experience managing HR functions in a small to mid-sized company
Knowledge of federal and Ohio employment laws
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
High level of integrity and confidentiality
Preferred:
CPA or SHRM certification
Experience in precision machining or manufacturing environments
Familiarity with ERP systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strategic thinker with hands-on operational capability
