Maintenance Tech

Located in Madison, WI

Salary: $25+/hr

We are looking for candidates for a Maintenance Tech opportunity with a great property management company in West Madison.

 

This is a full-time, evaluation hire position. Previous construction/maintenance experience REQUIRED.

 

Position Responsibilities:

? Interior and exterior residential property repairs, maintenance, and improvements
? Carpentry, basic plumbing, and basic electrical work
? Turnover work between tenants, including painting, patching, and preparing units
? Painting and drywall repair
? Routine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance across building systems
? Tracking hours worked and retaining all material purchase receipts
? Completing work order documentation and property reports
? Coordinating daily workflow with property managers and maintenance team members
? Professional, courteous interaction with residents and owners

 

Position Requirements:

? High School Diploma or GED
? Experience in residential repairs and property maintenance
? Background check required
? Valid driver’s license
? Reliable transportation
? General assortment of commonly needed tools for residential repairs/maintenance
? Ability to work independently, manage time, and prioritize multiple tasks

 

Qualifications:

? Skills in residential maintenance, preventive maintenance, and general repair
? Ability to troubleshoot across multiple building systems
? Experience working in single-family homes and/or apartment buildings
? Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general construction preferred
? Strong communication and customer-service skills
? Technical training or certification a plus

 

Schedule: 7am - 3pm, M-F

 

Pay: $25+/hr, depending on experience.
