Chopper Gun Operator

We are seeking a skilled Chopper Gun Operator to join our fiberglass production team. This role requires hands-on experience with fiberglass fabrication, including lamination and finishing, as well as the ability to work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a chopper gun to apply fiberglass and resin to molds

• Perform fiberglass lamination, rolling, and material build-up

• Sand, grind, trim, and cut fiberglass components

• Use hand and power tools to finish parts to specification

• Read and accurately use a tape measure

• Inspect parts for quality and consistency

• Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all safety procedures

Requirements:

• Experience in auto body work, fiberglass lamination, or chopper gun operation

• Knowledge of sanding, grinding, cutting fiberglass, and rolling techniques

• Proficient with common hand tools and power tools

• Ability to read a tape measure accurately

• Must be able to bend, squat, and lift at least 50 lbs

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
