A Concrete Pouring Worker is responsible for preparing, pouring, leveling, and finishing concrete for construction projects such as foundations, sidewalks, driveways, floors, walls, and structural components. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, teamwork, and knowledge of safety procedures.
Prepare construction sites by setting up forms and reinforcing materials
Mix concrete manually or operate mixing equipment
Pour concrete into forms or molds
Spread, level, and smooth concrete using tools such as screeds, floats, and trowels
Monitor curing process and apply sealing or protective coatings
Remove forms after concrete has set
Repair and patch existing concrete surfaces
Maintain tools and equipment
Follow all workplace safety regulations
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting 50+ lbs, standing long hours)
Knowledge of concrete mixing ratios and curing times
Experience with hand and power tools
Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
OSHA safety certification (preferred)
Outdoor construction sites
Exposure to varying weather conditions
Requires protective gear (helmet, gloves, boots, safety glasses)
Early morning or extended hours depending on project deadlines
