Position: Warehouse Associate w/ Forklift (Picking/Packing/Cleaning)

Location: Olathe, KS

Pay: Starting at $18.00/hour (Based on Experience)

 

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 4am -12:30pm

 

Position Overview: Join our team as a Warehouse Associate, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include operating a sit-down forklift, picking and packing orders, handling will call orders, processing material cuts, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This role requires someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.

 

Responsibilities:

• Keep the warehouse clean and organized daily, including sweeping and picking up debris
• Sort and organize merchandise for easy access in designated bin locations
• Accurately pick and pack customer orders
• Process cable cuts and handle reels and coils, including boxing and palletizing as needed
• Manage will call orders, including picking, packing, and loading
• Safely operate a standard forklift
• Maintain confidentiality of company information
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, demonstrating a strong work ethic
• Work with urgency, maintaining organization and attention to detail
• Adapt to changes and manage high-stress situations calmly
• Accurately clock in/out and take required breaks
• Work overtime as required based on business needs

Qualifications:

• Experience operating a standard forklift
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Capable of standing for extended periods and reaching overhead
• Ability to work efficiently under deadline pressure
• Proficiency with handheld scanners
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience
• Basic math skills and proficiency in reading and writing in English
• Customer service skills are a plus
