Full Time: 6AM- 2:30PM 

JOB SUMMARY

The Welder is responsible for maintaining an organized and efficient production area to support daily manufacturing operations. This role requires strong time management, the ability to multitask, and a self-motivated approach to completing assignments with minimal supervision.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

· Perform manual assembly tasks, including lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 35 lbs.
· Operate hand tools, power tools, production line equipment, fixtures, measuring instruments, and other necessary machinery.
· Perform repetitive manual operations such as fitting, aligning, calibrating, and adjusting parts to meet engineering specifications.
· Prepare materials, set up and operate welding equipment, and inspect completed welds to ensure quality standards are met.
· Perform TIG welding and spot welding on a variety of parts, producing high-quality welds for manufacturing use.
· Weld using Stainless Steel, Copper, and Aluminum materials, typically thin gauge sheet metal.
· Set up and adjust TIG welding machines for various materials and thicknesses, demonstrating strong understanding of machine controls.
· Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols as applicable.
· Use precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to verify dimensions and maintain quality.
· Support complex production runs and meet seasonal or high-volume demands in assigned work areas.


QUALIFICATIONS

· High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
· Welding certification (e.g., AWS) preferred.
· Minimum 2 years of TIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Experience welding stainless steel, copper, and aluminum sheet metal.
· Strong understanding of TIG welding machine setup and operation.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
· Skilled in the use of precision measuring tools.
· Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
· Ability to work independently and in a team setting.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to read and write, sit, walk within the facility to access file cabinets, documents, stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to finger, handle, feel or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 10 pounds. They also occasionally move objects weighing up to 20 lbs., and sometimes, but rarely, up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
