Concrete Labourer
Located in Dresden, ON
Salary: $20.00/Hour
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Concrete Labourer to join our production team at a precast concrete and infrastructure products manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will play a critical role in preparing and constructing concrete forms, assisting in the production of precast infrastructure components, and ensuring work is completed to specification and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and erect concrete forms and molds for precast infrastructure elements such as box culverts and manholes
- Interpret reinforcement steel diagrams and finished drawings to ensure accurate form setup and completion
- Assist with positioning and assembling formwork using overhead cranes and other lifting equipment when required
- Perform manual labour tasks including measuring, cutting, placing and aligning materials to meet design specifications
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company and regulatory safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality expectations, including overtime as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in concrete forming, precast production or related construction work
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams and specifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with construction tools and equipment
- WHMIS certification and commitment to workplace safety protocols
- Physically fit and able to perform demanding labour (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods)
