Reach Truck & Sit‑Down Forklift Operator

Location: Millville, NJ

 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Pay: $20/hour

Employment Type: Full‑time

🧭 Role Overview

This position supports daily warehouse and production operations within a food‑processing facility. The operator is responsible for safely moving raw materials, packaging, and finished goods using both a reach truck and sit‑down forklift, while maintaining accuracy, cleanliness, and compliance with food‑safety standards.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Operate a reach truck and sit‑down forklift to move, stack, and organize materials.

• Load and unload trailers, pallets, and production lines.

• Transport ingredients and finished products between storage, processing, and shipping areas.

• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.

• Maintain accurate inventory movement through scanning or manual logs.

• Follow all food‑safety, GMP, and facility sanitation requirements.

• Keep aisles, racking, and work areas clean and hazard‑free.

• Support general warehouse tasks as needed (palletizing, staging, wrapping, etc.).

📦 Qualifications

• Experience operating a reach truck and sit‑down forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

• Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain one upon hire).

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.

• Comfortable working in a food‑processing environment (temperature‑controlled, cleanliness standards, PPE).

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

• Basic computer or scanner skills for inventory tracking.
