Second Shift Production Associate – Machining Department
A growing manufacturing facility is hiring a Second Shift Production Associate to support machining operations and keep production running safely and efficiently. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, can follow detailed instructions, and is comfortable working with tools, machinery, and repetitive physical tasks.
What You’ll Do
• Perform tool changes and complete leak tests according to established procedures.
• Operate machining equipment including Chiron drills, forklifts, and Okuma lathes.
• Conduct hardness tests to verify product quality.
• Re-balance, inspect, and palletize parts for shipment or further processing.
• Inspect parts for accuracy, defects, and compliance with quality standards.
• Follow all standard work instructions and maintain safe work habits throughout the shift.
What You Need
• Ability to stand on your feet for 8+ hours per shift.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
• Willingness to work second shift and overtime as needed.
• Basic reading, writing, and communication skills.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Safety Requirements
In addition to standard PPE (bump cap, safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, hearing protection), this position also requires:
• Kevlar gloves for chip removal
• Rubber-coated or latex gloves for designated tasks on the line
