2nd Shift - Machine Operator

Located in Clarksville, TN

Salary: $15.00 / hour

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable, experienced, and efficient candidates for a Machine Operator position in the Refrigeration Department with a Tubing Manufacturer. This position will pay $15.00 per hour, and the hours are Monday-Friday from 2:30PM-11:00PM. You are required to work until 1:00AM when on overtime. 

Responsibilities:

• Review work instructions and check all preceding process steps have been completed
• Read, interpret and process product according to work instructions specifications
• Start machine and adjust valves necessary to obtain desired results
• Participate in quality control checks of products
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with Company procedures, rules and regulations
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs.
• 2-3 years of Previous Machine Operation or Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Able to accurately read and measure with Tape Measure
• Demonstrates good attendance and available to work overtime when needed
• Capable of reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Demonstrates the ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence
• Critical- Demonstrates the ability to work independently and with other members of the team 
• Capable of standing on concrete for the entire shift
• Capable of working in a temperature controlled environment
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Gloves and Guards
