Job Title: Production Technician – Grinding & Heat Treat Operations

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Technician to support our steel fabrication and heat-treating operations. This position is responsible for finishing custom-cut steel components and assisting with stress-relieving processes using industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a hand grinder to debur and finish custom-cut steel parts to quality specifications

• Load and unload steel components into a large stress-relieving oven

• Safely operate small overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials and parts

• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet dimensional and quality standards

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Qualifications

• Ability to proficiently read a tape measure

• Ability to perform basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

• Experience operating hand tools and industrial equipment preferred

• Forklift and crane experience preferred (or willingness to be trained)

• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

• Ability to lift and move heavy materials as required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy steel parts

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing/industrial environment
