Manufacturing Supervisor

Pay: $28/hr + DOE

Schedule: 3pm - 11:30pm

Position Summary

The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all shift operations to ensure safe, efficient, and quality-driven production. This role provides leadership to production employees, ensures compliance with company standards, and drives continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and enforce proper PPE compliance while maintaining a safe work environment and strong safety record

  • Immediately communicate unsafe conditions, acts, or injuries to the Production Manager

  • Oversee completion of shift production reports and required documentation

  • Ensure all products meet quality specifications

  • Adhere to the company’s product sampling schedule

  • Meet wired plant compliance metrics and facility performance standards

  • Assist with and support the Preventive Maintenance program as required

  • Troubleshoot process and mechanical issues; perform necessary repairs and adjustments to meet production demands

  • Allocate and manage available labor and equipment resources to achieve daily production goals

  • Meet or exceed standard production efficiencies on all production lines

  • Ensure housekeeping standards are met or exceeded throughout the shift

  • Train and develop shift employees in safety, quality standards, and job functions

  • Support employee skill development through company training programs

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and repair experience

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Basic computer proficiency

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to repeatedly lift up to 75 pounds to a height of 6 feet

  • Ability to stand and remain mobile for a minimum of 8 continuous hours

  • Ability to work in temperature extremes (hot and cold environments)

  • Frequent use of hands, arms, and legs to handle and transport materials

  • Full range of body motion required daily, including twisting, bending, reaching, squatting, and mounting/dismounting industrial equipment and vehicles
