Our Scarborough client, a leading design and manufacturing company, is looking for a Production / Assembly Worker to join their team!

Responsibilities:

• Follow work instructions to complete various stages of metal detector production and scanning
• Support the repair process of metal detectors under supervision
• Handle, mix, apply, and transport materials such as epoxy, cement, and Goop
• Operate power tools safely and as directed
• Assist with building and cleaning metal detectors, machines, and frames
• Load and unload trucks using a pump truck
• Build crates as per specifications when required
• Perform regular housekeeping duties and safely clean up outdated or hazardous materials
• Ensure all cleaning tasks meet hygiene and safety standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills: 

• 1-2 years of Production and Assembly experience within Manufacturing or Production environment
• Experience operating pump truck
• Experience operating basic hand tools
• Comfortable lifting up to 30lbs
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Must be reliable, dependable, and punctual

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience handling materials like epoxy and cement (asset)

 Compensation and Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 7:00am to 3:30pm (Occasional weekend)
• Pay Rate: $19 per hour
