Duties

• Receive incoming shipments using RF scanners, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, forklifts, and cranes, ensuring proper handling of heavy equipment.
• Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies upon arrival and document findings accurately.
• Load and unload freight safely while adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
• Organize and store materials systematically within the warehouse using warehouse management systems.
• Prepare items for storage or shipment by stacking on pallets or racks, utilizing heavy lifting techniques.
• Coordinate with shipping and receiving teams to ensure timely processing of inbound goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through order picker systems and warehouse management software.
• Assist with order picking tasks as needed to support outbound logistics.
• Operate mechanical equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and crane systems safely and efficiently.
• Support warehouse supervisor in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related roles within a warehouse setting.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards applicable to warehouse operations.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems for inventory control.
• Strong physical stamina capable of heavy lifting and repetitive tasks.
• Prior experience in construction or materials handling is advantageous.
• Warehouse supervisor experience is a plus but not required; leadership qualities are valued.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and inventory management.
