About the Role

We’re hiring Furniture Movers & Assemblers to support a major retail showroom during a busy seasonal period. This is a physically active role involving furniture movement, assembly, and general showroom support.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload, move, and place furniture displays throughout the store

• Assemble furniture and showroom items using provided tools

• Team lift, push, and pull 100+ lbs of furniture, boxes, and materials

• Maintain a clean, organized stockroom and showroom

• Assist with placing POP materials, banners, and signage

• Help customers carry merchandise to their vehicles

• Safely go up and down a ladder as needed

• Follow all safety procedures and lifting guidelines

Requirements

• Must be physically capable of team lifting 100+ lbs throughout the shift

• Ability to safely push, pull, and maneuver heavy items

• Good hand‑eye coordination and dexterity

• Interest and ability in assembling furniture

• Must pass a drug test (including marijuana)

• Must pass a conditional background check

• Must wear long pants with a belt, and closed‑toe shoes or boots

• No offensive clothing or foul language

• Reliable attendance for the full 3‑week assignment

Schedule & Pay

• Temporary role: 3 weeks starting in mid‑March

• Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Pay: $22 per hour
