Tire Technician

Salary: $14-16/hour

Position: Tire Technician

Location: Hope AR

Hours M-F 8-5 & Sat. 8-12

Pay: $16.00 

 

 Duties:

 

• Inspect, remove, and replace tires on diesel trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.

• Diagnose and repair tire issues including flats, punctures, valve stems, and leaks.

• Mount, balance, rotate, and torque tires using proper equipment and safety procedures.

• Perform road service calls for tire repairs or replacements on roadside breakdowns.

• Check tire pressure, tread depth, and wear patterns; document findings and report recommendations.

• Maintain inventory of tires, tools, and repair materials.

• Assist in alignment checks and wheel inspections to ensure safe and efficient vehicle operation.

• Operate air tools, tire changers, hydraulic jacks, and other heavy-duty shop equipment safely.
