The machinist is responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining the CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. They adjust machine, settings, ensure quality control and troubleshoot issues to maintain efficient production. *CNC machine experience is a must!*
Machine Operation: Set up and operate CNC machines (ELHA-MORI)Load parts into machine and run appropriate milling programMonitor Machining ProcessAdjust machine settings to optimize performanceInspect finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure they meet specifications.Label all finished partsMake necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy and consistency in production.Identify defects or deviations and take corrective action.Maintain machine log for all CNC machines.Communicate with Foreman about production status and issues.
