Job Description:

Writes CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) programs in PC-DMIS and verifies dimensional layouts according to blueprints.
Performs technical inspections/measurements of products, requiring exacting tolerances, using equipment such as CMM and ROMER Arms and related hand measuring tools.
Operates and programs CMM/ROMER Arms using PC-DMIS software.
Must be capable of performing 100% dimensional inspections.
Use precision inspection measuring devices.
Very Strong background in GD&T and ability to read and understand complex machining drawings and CAD Models.
Conducts inspections and tests (visual, dimensional, content, etc) on incoming components and materials.
Communicate with customer/vendor quality and engineering to achieve print compliant parts and components.
Performs lay-out, 1st Place, In Process, and Final Inspections.
Maintains all inspection records relating to individual inspection activities.
Supplies inspection data to engineering, manufacturing and quality areas.
Adheres to ISO Quality procedures.
Cleans and maintains all assigned areas and equipment.
Works in a safe manner at all times.

Duties:

Romer checks to provide measurement data for RCCA (root cause/corrective action)

Inspection using various measurement tools to determine if a material is conforming to print specification
