Position - Front-End Loader Operator 

Location - St. Paul, MN
Shift - 1st Shift  full time, 5am to 3:30pm

Pay - $22-25

 

Overview

Operate a front-end loader to move, load, and organize scrap metal in a busy recycling yard. Support production and shipping by safely handling materials, maintaining equipment, and working with plant staff to keep operations running smoothly.

 

Responsibilities

• • Pushes and feeds material into the shredder using a front-end loader
  • Loads fluff trucks with processed shredder residue
  • Transports shredded material to designated outdoor stockpile areas
  • Loads shredded material into railcars when required
  • Performs daily equipment checks and greases machine per maintenance schedule
  • Assists with general cleanup around the shredder and yard areas
  • Maintains safe operation at all times, following company and OSHA guidelines

Requirements

• 2+ year experience operating loaders or heavy equipment (recycling/industrial preferred)
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong safety awareness and communication skills
• High School diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license preferred
