Manufacturing Assembler Job Responsibilities

• Operate saws and cutting equipment to accurately cut aluminum, metal, and other materials according to production specifications
• Assemble fabricated components using hand tools, power tools, and production equipment
• Perform quality control inspections throughout the manufacturing and assembly process
• Use precision measuring tools, including micrometers and other measuring instruments, to verify dimensions and product accuracy
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, work instructions, and specifications
• Operate and assist with press brake machines and other metal fabrication equipment
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and assist with troubleshooting manufacturing equipment
• Identify quality issues, dimensional problems, and production defects
• Work closely with other manufacturing and fabrication team members to maintain production efficiency
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing shop environment

Manufacturing Assembler Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, metalworking, or a related field
• Strong mechanical aptitude and mechanical knowledge
• Experience operating saws, fabrication machinery, and shop equipment
• Hands-on experience with aluminum fabrication or metal fabrication preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, measurements, and production specifications
• Experience using micrometers, measuring tools, and precision inspection equipment
• Proficiency with common hand tools and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality manufactured products
• Ability to identify problems and perform basic manufacturing troubleshooting
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a production team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and handling of materials
• Ability to safely operate and work around manufacturing and fabrication equipment
• Ability to lift and move materials as required for the position
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing and production environment
