Material Handler

Salary: $18.00 / hr

Experience Required:

• Forklift experience required

Job Summary:

• Independently unload raw material deliveries and store materials in designated locations following inventory and document control procedures.
• Inspect incoming materials for quality and accuracy, and promptly report any nonconforming items to a supervisor.
• Transport materials throughout the facility using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or carts, while following safety guidelines.
• Operate a chip spinner to process metal shavings and maintain a clean, efficient work area.

Position Type: Evaluation Hire

Pay: $18.00 / hr

Schedule:  7:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Qualifications:

• Ability to be on your feet for the entirety of the shift
• Ability to climb, stand, squat for entirety of shift
• Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally
• Must work and interact effectively and professionally with others on the team
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Must comply with quality standards
• Excellent communication skills and professionalism
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative environment
• Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations
