Warehouse Manager

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee operations in a busy warehouse environment!

Position Details:
• Type: Direct Hire
• Schedule: Day Shift (7:00am–4:00pm, occasional overtime as needed)
• Pay/Salary: Up to $70,000/year (based on experience)

Job Duties:
• Manage daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
• Supervise, train, and lead a team of warehouse associates.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Monitor warehouse equipment and coordinate routine maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Oversee proper storage and handling of materials to prevent damage or loss.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and project teams to forecast material needs and meet deadlines.
• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required; additional education in logistics, supply chain, or business is a plus.
• 3–5 years of warehouse management experience, preferably in construction or flooring-related environments.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Experience with inventory control systems and warehouse software.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Knowledge of flooring materials and installation practices is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a physically active environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask with minimal supervision.
