Material Handler

Located in Tyler, TX

Salary: $19/hr

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Material Handler to join a local company in Tyler, TX! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas who have openings they are looking to fill with great talent we find for them!

Key Responsibilities

• Feed and monitor raw materials for production processes
  
  

• Assist with operating and adjusting extrusion equipment as needed
  
  

• Perform quality checks and accurately record production data
  
  

• Load and unload mandrels
  
  

• Handle packaging of finished products and manage waste materials
  
  

• Monitor equipment and report issues to supervisors
  
  

• Maintain a clean and organized work area
  
  

• Perform general labor duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant manufacturing or production experience required
  
  

• High School Diploma or GED
  
  

• Hardworking, dependable, and team-oriented
  
  

• Strong attention to detail
  
  

• Ability to follow safety guidelines and work instructions

Physical Requirements

• Standing: Continuous
  
  

• Walking: Frequent
  
  

• Climbing: Occasional (stairs, up to 50 ft)
  
  

• Bending/Twisting/Kneeling: Occasional or rare
