Salary: $25-$27/hr DOE

Express Employment is now hiring for an AutoCAD Drafter at a local company based out of Tumwater, WA. This is an evaluation-permanent opportunity. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 40hrs per week, day shift. The compensation for this position will start at $25-$27/hr DOE. This company offers a benefits package to include Medical/Dental/Vision, paid holidays, vacation, and a 401(k) retirement plan with company match up to 4%. 

 

Job Duties:

• Create and revise detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD and Microvellum
• Draft complete submittal sets for casework, millwork, solid surface, architectural metals, stone, and related interior components
• Review architectural plans and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Prepare complete drawing packages in accordance with project and contractor requirements
• Utilize Bluebeam for plan review, markups, and submittal coordination
• Support project management with drawing updates and related documentation
• Maintain organized drawing files and project documentation
• Incorporate field measurements, redlines, and feedback into drawing revisions

 

Job Requirements:

 

• Proficiency in AutoCAD required
• Experience with Microvellum preferred (not required)
• Proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Ability to interpret architectural plans and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage changing priorities
• Familiarity with LEED, FSC, and AWI guidelines is a plus
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
