Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic / Semi Diesel Mechanic in Midland, TX to work on heavy equipment, semi-trucks, and industrial equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, air brakes, and HVAC systems on tractor-trailers, farm machinery, and industrial equipment
Perform electrical repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment and semi-trucks
Replace and repair damaged or worn parts and components
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, shocks & struts replacement, wheel alignments, and general vehicle servicing
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
Utilize software systems to access equipment specifications and repair procedures
Fabricate parts or components as needed using welding, soldering, hand tools, and power tools
Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other industrial machinery safely and efficiently
Conduct repairs on farm machinery and industrial equipment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
Assist with assembly and disassembly of vehicle components or equipment for repairs or upgrades
Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed
Follow all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic / Semi Diesel Mechanic
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and air brake systems
Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic equipment
Welding and fabrication skills preferred
Experience working on heavy equipment, farm machinery, and industrial equipment is a plus
Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
Schedule:
