Inside Sales Representative (Industrial Supplies)
Full Time | Lafayette, LA | $20.00/hr. 

 

We are seeking a dependable Inside Sales Representative to support industrial supply sales by generating quotes, assisting customers, and closing transactions. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with a growing company.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Generate customer quotes and proposals based on requests via phone or email

• Provide product knowledge to help customers select correct products for their applications and projects

• Follow up on quotes and proposals, negotiate as needed, and close sales

• Coordinate shipping, material requirements, and delivery timelines

• Enter orders into the company’s ERP system according to established procedures

• Maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers

• Work closely with the Outside Sales team and communicate account feedback

• Assist customers with counter sales as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year B2B industrial sales experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Experience with Infor SXe software is a plus

• Strong sense of urgency and commitment to customer service

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• Some Saturdays as needed

• Will eventually be on call

---

Pay:

• $20.00 per hour
