Express Employment Professionals is hiring for a Lay Up position for a local manufacturing company in Vonore, TN 

Lay Up Responsibilities:  

• Must be able to safely operate all equipment specific to your assigned area. 

• Must be able to maintain a constant and consistent flow of material through the process, while adjusting machinery if necessary to facilitate an efficient flow of material. 

• Must stop production of material when quality issues are identified. 

• Must stop equipment when it is identified to be unsafe to run 

 

 

Lay Up Qualifications:  

• Must know and understand all customer’s requirements in their assigned area pertaining to quality and customer satisfaction. 

• Must be able to meet internal and external customer’s requirements on any critical to quality (CTQ) testing required of their area. 

• Identify and aid in the corrections of any quality issues, notify the immediate Supervisor with any quality issues or concerns 

• Must be able to use instruments such as micrometers, tape measures, go/no-go gauges, etc. to ensure quality specifications are met. 

 

Lay Up Shift: 

• Temp to hire.  

• 6am – 2:30pm  

• Monday – Friday
