McAllen, Texas - Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

 

We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to join an established specialty clinic in the McAllen area! The ideal candidate must be professional in their appearance and demeanor, self-motivated, detail orientated, personable, and have a customer service oriented attitude.

 

General duties:

• working the front desk area greeting patients, visitors & vendors
• answering multi-line phones
• entering patient demographics
• checking patients in and out
• scheduling appointments
• updating patient accounts
• assisting the Medical Assistants & Physicians
• running reports
• responds to inquiries and emails
• communicates effectively with other departments as needed
• oversees patient flow
• cross train as needed
• other duties as assigned

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior experience (1-2 years) in a medical office.
• Bilingual, fluent in Spanish preferred.
• It is preferred that the selected Candidate have experience in working with EMR systems.
• Interpersonal skills is a must.
• Consistently pleasant demeanor with providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to prioritize and work independently.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail and follows through with tasks given.

 

Experience:

• Medical Receptionist: 1-2 years (Preferred)
