Our client, a well‑established sports field construction company specializing in both natural grass and synthetic turf fields, is seeking a reliable and hardworking Turf Grass General Laborer to join their team. This role supports field construction, renovation, and maintenance projects across the region.

Position Overview
The Turf Grass General Laborer will assist with day‑to‑day field construction tasks, operate light and heavy equipment, and support site preparation and installation work. This is a hands‑on, outdoor role suited for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and works well in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
•     Perform general labor tasks related to natural and synthetic turf field construction.
•     Operate equipment such as tractors, skid steers, and small excavators.
•     Safely drive pickup trucks with trailers to transport materials and equipment.
•     Assist with grading, soil preparation, drainage installation, and turf layout.
•     Load and unload tools, materials, and machinery.
•     Maintain a clean and safe job site.
•     Follow instructions from site supervisors and project managers.

Qualifications
•     Experience in landscaping, turf management, construction, or related outdoor labor preferred.
•     Ability to operate tractors, excavators, and similar equipment.
•     Valid driver’s license with the ability to tow trailers.
•     Strong work ethic and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
•     Ability to lift 50+ lb and perform physically demanding tasks.
•     Reliable transportation to job sites in Frederick or Clarksburg, MD.
•     Must pass a background check.
