Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Account Representative to join our growing team in the Northbrook area. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced office environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about delivering excellent customer service. You’ll wear many hats and play a key role in supporting client accounts and ensuring a smooth service experience.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide top-tier customer service to business clients
• Answer high volumes of calls and emails professionally and efficiently
• Assist with account maintenance, issue resolution, and client support
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding benefits and plan details
• Manage administrative and CRM tasks
• Collaborate with team members to ensure client satisfaction
• Troubleshoot and resolve client concerns quickly and effectively

Requirements

• Life & Health Insurance License (REQUIRED)
• Experience with employer-provided benefits (not individual plans), including:
• Dental
• Vision

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and professionalism
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities

• Proficiency with:
• Microsoft Outlook (heavy email communication)
• Microsoft Teams
• Excel & Word
• Experience using CRM systems (AgencyBloc is a plus)
