Assembler/Installer – Animal Control Units

Position Summary

The Animal Control Unit Assembler/Installer is responsible for assembling and installing aluminum containment systems for animal control vehicles and facilities. This role follows established production procedures and company standards to ensure secure, humane, and durable containment systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble aluminum cages, kennel systems, doors, dividers, and ventilation components
• Install containment systems in trucks, vans, and trailers
• Follow work orders, build sheets, and supervisor instructions
• Measure, cut, drill, fasten, and finish aluminum components
• Ensure proper alignment, secure fastening, and safe operation of all components
• Inspect completed units for quality and durability
• Maintain clean and safe work areas
• Meet production timelines

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Experience in assembly, manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or related field preferred
• Experience with aluminum materials is a plus
• Ability to use a tape measure and common shop tools
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs

Physical Requirements

• Standing for extended periods
• Repetitive motion and tool use
• Exposure to a shop/manufacturing environment
