Industrial Cleaner

Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable Industrial Cleaner to maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse or manufacturing environment. This role supports operational efficiency and workplace safety through routine and specialized cleaning duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production floors, restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas

• Remove trash, scrap materials, and debris from work areas

• Clean machinery exteriors, equipment surfaces, and workstations following safety guidelines

• Mop, sweep, vacuum, and scrub floors using industrial cleaning equipment

• Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and restroom materials

• Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and hazardous materials

• Identify and report safety hazards, spills, or maintenance issues

• Comply with all safety rules, PPE requirements, and OSHA guidelines

• Maintain cleaning logs and complete assigned checklists

• Support special cleaning projects, shutdowns, or deep-clean efforts as needed

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Preferred:

• Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or warehouse environment

• Experience operating floor scrubbers, pressure washers, or similar equipment

• Familiarity with safety protocols and PPE usage

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching

• Ability to lift up to 40–50 pounds

• Ability to safely operate a forklift and maintain required certifications (if applicable)

• Work in environments with machinery, industrial equipment, noise, dust, cleaning chemicals, and varying temperatures

• Regular use of hands and fingers to handle tools and materials

• Proper use of PPE at all times

• Must follow all safety procedures and immediately report unsafe conditions
