Construction Project Superintendent

Full time, $26.50-$43.00/DOE

Monday through Friday

7:30am-4:30pm (occasional night work and 10 hour days)

• Jobsite supervision and management. Coordinating subcontractors in the field. 50%
• Field Labor. Minor carpentry, project cleaning, installation of doors, door hardware and other miscellaneous fixtures. 25%
• Reading Contract Documents; drawings, schedules, submittals, contracts, RFI's, etc. 15%
• Safety & Quality Control. Perform inspections and complete reports. 7%
• Attend Meetings and Job Walks. 3%
• Overseeing all day-to-day construction activities, including managing crews and subcontractors
• Creating and updates project schedules and coordinating the delivery of materials and equipment
• Leading on-site safety meetings, enforcing compliance with OSHA standards and company policies
• Conducting daily inspections to ensure work meets quality standards, blueprints, and building codes
• Maintaining daily logs of site activities, personnel, and progress, reporting to project managers
• Resolving on-site conflicts, design issues, and logistical challenges to prevent delays

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a construction environment or similar learning role in construction
• Deep understanding of construction processes
• Ability to use construction management software, spreadsheets, and email for documentation
• Strong capability to manage, motivate, and direct subcontractors and labor crews
• Certifications- OSHA,
• Ability to lift and move materials 45 pounds +
• Able to walk around construction site with uneven surfaces, scaffolding, and climbing a ladder
