WOOD CRATE ASSEMBLERS

We are currently hiring multiple production team members to build custom wooden crates. If you have experience using power tools and are ready to work, apply today!


📅 Available Shifts (12-Hour Shifts)

  • Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM


🛠️ Job Summary

As a member of the production team, you will be responsible for building wooden crates using cut sheets (blueprints) and power tools while meeting customer quality standards and production deadlines.

You will also be required to track work progress in the production planning system (Ops Center) and follow the daily production schedule. Safety and teamwork are essential.


🔨 Essential Duties

Wood Crate Production

  • Build wooden crates of various sizes using power tools such as nail guns, staple guns, drills, grinders, and hammers.

  • Safely use ladders when assembling crate tops.

  • Assemble bases or platforms (requires bending or kneeling).

  • Operate heavy nail guns weighing up to 20 lbs.

  • Apply adhesives and install foam according to specifications.

  • Use internal production software to track job progress.

Specifications Verification

  • Measure accurately using a tape measure (within 1/8 inch).

  • Read and interpret cut sheets/blueprints.

  • Identify and report labeling or blueprint errors.

Safe & Efficient Team Member

  • Report equipment defects or maintenance needs.

  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

  • Communicate unsafe conditions immediately.

  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.


⚠️ Important Requirements

  • Must bring your own tools:

    • Hammer

    • Tape measure

    • Steel-toe work boots

  • Minimum 3 months experience in carpentry, construction, landscaping, or power tool operation.

  • Basic computer skills to log jobs in and out using employee ID.

  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts.

  • Must be able to bend, kneel, and lift tools up to 20 lbs.


⭐ Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

  • Forklift experience is a plus.
