Human Resources Manager

Job Duties

 

Recruitment, Staffing, and Onboarding

• Lead the full-cycle recruitment process including job postings, interviewing, selection, and hiring.
• Manage onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
• Partner with department leaders to forecast staffing needs and develop effective talent acquisition strategies.

 

Training, Development, and Performance Management

• Design, implement, and oversee training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
• Support and coordinate the annual performance review process, including goal setting and evaluation tracking.
• Manage site-specific training programs and maintain training records to ensure compliance with company and client standards.

 

Employee Relations and Engagement

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent resolution of conflicts.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes engagement, communication, and collaboration.
• Implement employee recognition and retention initiatives to strengthen workplace culture.

 

Compensation, Benefits, and Leave Management

• Oversee compensation and benefits administration, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with applicable laws.
• Administer FMLA and other leave programs in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Manage the company’s DISA compliance program, including background checks and drug testing.

 

Experience/education required:

 

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)

• In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
