Production Technician
Pay: $17.00 per hour

Express Employment is seeking a hard-working and detail-oriented Production Technician to assist in the manufacturing process. This role is responsible for preparing machinery and equipment for operation, building electrical wiring harnesses, assembling system components, and conducting testing procedures while strictly following quality and safety standards.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced production environment and can maintain consistent speed and accuracy without compromising quality.
Position Summary
The Production Technician supports manufacturing operations by assembling, wiring, testing, and maintaining production equipment and components. This position requires a strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a high-functioning team.
Key Responsibilities

Follow production guidelines, specifications, and work instructions to meet order deadlines

Prepare, operate, and maintain machinery and production floor equipment

Build system electrical wiring harnesses

Assemble and test system components

Read and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, and technical manuals

Use precision measurement tools such as measuring tapes, dial calipers, and micrometers

Ensure all work is performed according to company quality procedures and applicable ISO standards

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Adapt to shifting production priorities and customer demands
-
Work effectively as part of a team to meet productivity goals

Perform other duties as assigned by supervision
Qualifications & Requirements

Proficiency with measurement tools (measuring tapes, dial calipers, micrometers)

Understanding of manufacturing tolerances and specifications
-
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams

Strong mechanical and/or electrical background preferred

Full-color vision required for proper wiring identification

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Good verbal and written communication skills

Positive attitude and self-motivated work ethic
