Quality Inspector

Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support quality assurance efforts by inspecting products and components to ensure they meet internal standards and customer expectations. This role requires strong attention to detail, experience using precision measuring tools, and the ability to accurately document inspection results.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections of assembled products and components

• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and thread gauges

• Follow inspection procedures, control plans, and work instructions

• Record inspection results, non-conformances, and quality data accurately

• Identify and report quality issues to appropriate team members

• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action processes

• Support continuous improvement and quality assurance initiatives

• Assist in maintaining technical quality documentation and reports

• Train or assist other team members on quality inspection processes when needed

• Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized workspace

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required

• Technical certification or training in manufacturing or quality control preferred

• 3+ years of quality inspection, manufacturing, or assembly experience preferred

• Ability to use standard precision measuring tools

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); experience with quality systems or ERP software is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally

• Ability to stand, bend, or walk for extended periods in a production environment

• Good visual acuity for detailed inspection work

• Frequent use of hands and tools

• Work primarily in a shop/production environment with exposure to machinery noise (PPE required)
